Summer Scents
I have a deep love for a beautiful aroma. No joke, I often get on an elevator or stand next to someone in public, and nine times out of ten, I will be able to guess the perfume they are wearing. I have a wicked sense of smell (which can be both positive and negative). Certain fragrances remind me of different experiences in my life and put me in a good mood.
Perfume can add the finishing touch to any outfit. I tend to gravitate to musky perfumes for winter, but if I had to choose, I’d say that summer scents are my favorite. If you’re in the market for a new summer scent, here are my top three picks:
My signature summer scent is Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia by Estee Lauder. It smells like Hawaii in a bottle, and I get compliments on this fragrance every time I wear it. If you like tuberose, this one is for you.
When I’m feeling something a little lighter that smells like a sun-drenched day at the beach, I use Bronze Goddess, also by Estee Lauder. This is packed in my cosmetic bag for every summer trip!!
I’ve been wearing Kai oil for ten years, and it never gets old. Whenever I wear this oil, it instantly lifts my mood. This jasmine and gardenia scented oil is travel-friendly with a rollerball applicator, and because it is an oil, it lasts all day. Its price point makes it a great gift option as well.
If you are wanting to try a new fragrance this summer, you can’t go wrong with any of these options. They are truly summer in a bottle.
